Heavy Plant Crossing

This highly confusing sign stands on the side of the road down to Downhill Beach on the coast of Northern Ireland.  Chelsea and I have no idea whatever what it might mean…but the mental images it produces amuse us.

All the best,

Allie

  1. I believe the pictogram on the triangular warning sign indicates that the road narrows. In the UK, “heavy plant” refers to large equipment of various kinds (tractors, earth-moving machinery, etc.).

  2. Hahaha! Amazing. I wouldn’t have had any idea if Charles there had kept quiet! Thanks for clearing my mind of all kinds of weird thoughts…..
